Srinagar, August 12
The Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) has expressed its gratitude to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India for extending the admission cut-off dates for Technical courses across the country.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, President PUCA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh, stated that in response to PUCA and other petitioners, the Hon’ble Court has extended the last date of admissions for the 2025-26 academic session from August 15 to September 15, as per Notification No. IA 170417/2025.
Kataria highlighted that for the past 3–4 years, PUCA has consistently approached the Hon’ble Supreme Court to seek extensions, ensuring the benefit of technical colleges nationwide and safeguarding the interests of students.
Kataria mentioned that this decision will provide much-needed relief to both institutions and students, allowing more aspirants to enroll in their desired technical programs, he added.
Kataria also thanked All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, for supporting the students and technical institutions across the nation.
