The Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) has expressed its gratitude to the Punjab Government for releasing the pending Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) funds for the academic session 2025–26.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, PUCA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura stated that the decision would benefit nearly 3 lakh Scheduled Caste (SC) students across Punjab, ensuring the continuity of their higher education without financial constraints.
Dr. Kataria thanked Bhagwant Singh Mann, Chief Minister, Punjab; Harpal Singh Cheema, Finance Minister, Punjab; and Baljeet Kaur, Cabinet Minister for Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, Punjab, for their support and commitment towards the welfare of students and the strengthening of higher education in the state.
On the occasion, S. Manjeet Singh, Patron, PUCA; Adv. Amit Sharma, S. Rashpal Dhaliwal; S. Gurvinder Singh Bahra; Harinder Singh Kanda, S. Gurkirat Singh, Ashok Garg, Cherry Goyal, Monty Garg also appreciated the Punjab Government’s initiatives aimed at promoting accessible, affordable and inclusive education for deserving students across the state.
