Jammu, July 9

The Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) is set to organize a special “Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign” on July 11, 2025, as announced by PUCA President Dr. Anshu Kataria.

The event will commence at 11:00 AM at the CII Complex, Sector 31-A, Chandigarh. The core theme of the campaign is “Empowering the Youth of Punjab: Building Drug-Free Campuses.”

His Excellency Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, will grace the event as the Chief Guest, while Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Sh. Satnam Singh Sandhu will attend as the Special Guest. The event will be presided over by Dr. Anshu Kataria.

Dr. Kataria shared that several eminent personalities from the fields of education, social service, and industry will speak at the event. Key speakers include:

This initiative by PUCA is a mass awareness effort against substance abuse and is being seen as a collective movement to steer the youth in the right direction. One of the highlights of the event will be a pledge ceremony, where education leaders from Punjab will take an oath to work towards drug-free educational campuses.
