Dr Anshu Kataria, President PUCA received the award

Rajpura, August 21

Punjab Governor Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria today honored the Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) for its remarkable contributions to the education sector at a ceremony held at Hotel Hyatt, Chandigarh.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, PUCA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, received the award on behalf of the association. On this occasion, Dr. Gurpreet Singh (General Category), Sh. HPS Kanda (Joint Secretary) and Sh. Ashok Garg (Treasurer) were also present.

Governor Punjab while Congratulating the awardees,  lauded that PUCA’s efforts in promoting quality education, supporting private institutions, and contributing towards the overall growth of the education ecosystem in Punjab.

After receiving the award, Dr. Anshu Kataria said that thiis recognition belongs to all member institutions of PUCA who have worked tirelessly for the cause of education. PUCA has always been committed to raising the concerns of unaided colleges, ensuring quality education, and contributing to nation-building. This honour by the Hon’ble Governor further motivates us to continue working for the upliftment of students and institutions in Punjab and beyond.”

It is worth mentioning that for the past one decade, PUCA has been working for the upliftment and betterment of education not only in Punjab but for nation  as well. The association has not only focused on promoting quality and affordable education but has also continuously taken up the issues and challenges of unaided colleges with the government and concerned authorities. Be it the matter of pending scholarships, declining admissions, fee structures, or policy reforms, PUCA has acted as the collective voice of private colleges, ensuring that their concerns are addressed for the overall growth of the education sector in the state.
