Awareness March Scheduled from 9th–12th February
Across Multiple Districts Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) will fully support the initiative of Punjab Governor Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria for the Anti-Drug Padyatra to be held in Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Fazilka, and Abohar from 9th to 12th February.
In this regard, an online meeting was held in which Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, PUCA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, fully assured the Governor that all educational institutions in these regions would actively support this initiative.
Dr. Kataria further informed that Anirudh Gupta (DCM School), Devinder Pal Singh Rimpi (Desh Bhagat College, Moga), Heera Lal Sharma (Ferozepur Engineering College), Parveen Garg (ISF College, Moga), Rajesh Bhadwaj (SBS College, Patti), and Jagjit Singh (Punjab Collegeof Law, Taran Taran) will serve as coordinators for different regions during this awareness march.
He also mentioned that the Karan Gilhotra Foundation from Fazilka will extend its support to the campaign.
The closing ceremony of the Padyatra will be organized by PUCA in Abohar, where Abhishek College, Jain College, Meera College, GGS College, and others, along with social worker Gagan Chugh, will support the event. PUCA will also honor the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab for this significant initiative.
