President Message – About PUCA

Representing 400+ institutions. Redefining private education in Punjab.

Dr. Anshu Kataria

President, PUCA & Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges

PUCA sincerely thanks both the Governments of Punjab and Bihar for their support in fostering educational development across states.
In a landmark initiative, PUCA is proud to announce an education-focused collaborative event where an initial group of 30–50 colleges has come together to offer scholarships worth ₹50 crore. These scholarships will be distributed through verified education consultants, ensuring accessibility for deserving students from Bihar.

This event marks a significant milestone — it is the first of its kind, and PUCA envisions many such collaborative ventures in the future. We are dedicated to bringing innovation, opportunities, and quality education to the students of Bihar and, in the coming phases, to the North East and other potential regions across India.

We look forward to the resounding success of this initiative and the positive transformation it will bring to the Indian education landscape.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every college and educational institution in Punjab for being a part of the Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) over the past decade. With your continued support, PUCA has earned the trust of students, academic institutions, and various government bodies. We remain committed to advancing not only higher education but also the overall academic infrastructure and student welfare in Punjab and beyond.

Punjab and Bihar share a deep historical and cultural bond. It is noteworthy that one of the revered Akal Takhts, Takht Sri Patna Sahib, is located in Bihar, symbolizing the longstanding spiritual and social connection between the two states. The people of Bihar have also made valuable contributions to Punjab’s agricultural and social landscape, especially during the Green Revolution.
